During a battle with the orcs, Gabiru ignored the lizardmen's leader's demands and rebelled. After the battle with the orcs was over, he was taken to prison. And so, the time came for Gabiru's punishment to be decided. Believing it to be his fault for driving the Lizardmen to extinction, Gabiru is taken to the leader, expecting the death penalty. However, the punishment is excommunication. In addition, after being banished, Gabiru is given a Vortex Spear, a spear that should be wielded by the leader of the Lizardmen. Furthermore, Gabiru's subordinates are also walking behind him, as if following him. Touched by the kindness of his comrades and his father, the leader, Gabiru utters this famous line, even as he is in tears.

9th Place: "It was a great cause"

The Dwarf King Giving Thanks

After Kaijin punches Minister Vestar for insulting Rimuru Tempest, a trial is held for assaulting a minister of a country. Only nobles of rank equal to or above the rank of Earl were allowed to speak during the trial, so neither Rimuru nor Kaijin's companions were able to utter a single word. Furthermore, Rimuru's lawyer was bribed by Kaijin, and only testified against him. However, King Gazelle Dwango seemed to see through this. He asked Kaijin if he would return to the country. Kaijin, however, replied that he had sworn to serve Rimuru and would not return. Gazelle then handed Kaijin and his companions the punishment of exile. Seeing Gazelle at this time, Rimuru seemed somewhat lonely. Gazelle then showed Rimuru the complete recovery potion he had created, explaining that he had severed the connection to the knowledge of the method of manufacturing this potion, which even the dwarves could not make. Gazelle then asked Vester if there was anything he wanted to say. Seeing the triumphant return of the king, Vester was reminded of his childhood, when he wanted to serve the king and pledge his allegiance to him. However, now an adult, Vester was unable to honestly admit his mistake. Gazelle forbids Vestar from entering the royal palace. Just when you think she'll leave, she says to her, "But Bester, your work up to now has been worthwhile." Bester then breaks down in tears. This is a famous line that shows the dignity and consideration of Gazelle, who finally expresses his gratitude despite the matter affecting the dignity of the country.

8th Place: "Would the King be pleased if I served him while neglecting my benefactor?"

Kaijin Full View

Rimuru Tempest and his companion, Gobta, visited a blacksmith acquaintance of Kaido. The blacksmith was run by a dwarf named Kaijin, a weapons craftsman. Kaijin had accepted a request to make around 20 demon steel longswords, but was struggling because he didn't have enough materials. However, the request came from the country's minister, and he absolutely had to complete the task. Rimuru had been storing the necessary materials within his body, so he was able to create 20 demon steel longswords in no time. Kaijin threw a celebration to thank the client, and by chance the minister arrived at the shop. As Rimuru is a slime, he is classified as a monster, but the minister seemed displeased that a monster was in the shop and splashed water on Rimuru. Rimuru was privately furious, but he was powerless to do anything as the man was also the minister of a country. As uneasy atmosphere prevailed, Kaijin punched the minister. When he was told that there was a possibility that he might no longer be able to stay in the country, Kaijin said this famous line to Rimuru, who replied, "But you were working hard for the king, weren't you?"

7th Place: "You're just like me, I'm glad to meet you."

Smiling Shizu

After returning from the armed nation of Dwargon, the population of the goblin village had rapidly increased without Rimuru Tempest's knowledge. With Veldora, who had been protecting the land around the Goblin Village, gone, the neighboring residents learned that a strong leader named Rimuru had appeared in the Goblin Village and came seeking protection. Since there wasn't enough land in their original Goblin Village, Rimuru and his friends headed for a new land. Along the way, they encounter Shizue Izawa and some adventurers. Rimuru helps them out and offers to treat them to a simple meal. However, the adventurers seem a little wary. Rimuru then uses his go-to joke from his past life, which makes Shizu burst out laughing. Shizu then becomes convinced that she can trust Rimuru. As they head off to the new land once again, Shizu asks Rimuru, "Where is your hometown, Slime-san?" When Rimuru replies, "Japan," this line is spoken with a beaming smile. Rimuru has finally met someone from the same land, and Shizu was said to be his soulmate, making this an important scene and famous quote as the two meet.

6th Place: "I'm Getting Shizu Back"

Shizu Saying Thank You

Shizue Izawa was possessed by a powerful spirit called Ifrit. Sometimes, Ifrit would go out of control. This moment came when she was with Rimuru Tempest. Shizu has previously gone berserk, which resulted in the loss of her companions. Since then, she has avoided making new allies, and this time she asks those who came on this adventure with Rimuru and Shizu to leave. However, they are her companions, so she cannot abandon them! She searches for a solution. As Rimuru ponders what to do, he discovers that one of the adventurers, the sorcerer Ellen, has a magic spell called the "Great Ice and Water Demon Spear." Rimuru uses his unique skill, "Predator (Crowmono)," to master the spell and counterattack Ifrit. However, he is surrounded in flames by Ifrit's "Flame Explosion Prison Formation" and is in a desperate situation. But thanks to his "Heat Fluctuation Resistance," Rimuru takes no damage. These are the words Rimuru says to Ifrit just before using "Predator (Crowmono)" on himself. A great quote that shows Rimuru's manliness.

5th Place: "On behalf of Storm Dragon Veldora, I, Rimuru Tempest, will hear your request!"

The goblins were in conflict with the Garo tribe. The land of the goblin village was protected by the dragon Veldora. However, after Veldora disappeared, the village was attacked by various monsters. Then Rimuru Tempest, who possesses a strong demonic aura, appears and the goblins ask for help from the Garo tribe. While making the request, the howls of the Garo tribe are heard and the villagers fall into panic. Then, upon learning that the village chief's son, Riguru, has been killed and that there should be no more casualties, Rimuru accepts the request, and at that moment he utters this famous line:

4th Place: "Thank you, Shizu-san!!"

When Rimuru Tempest defeated the spirit Ifrit, who had possessed Shizue Izawa. Shizu was summoned around the time of the Great Tokyo Air Raid, but she still looked young. However, this was merely an extension of her life thanks to Ifrit. Now that Ifrit is gone, Shizu is rapidly aging. Just before she passes away, she tells Rimuru, "I want to sleep among the nostalgic scenery of my hometown that you showed me." Hearing this wish, Rimuru uses his unique skill, "Predator," to absorb Shizu. It is after this that Guido the thief, Ellen the magician, and Kabal the heavy warrior, who were adventuring with Shizu, visit Shizu. After hearing the full story, they tell her they are returning to report to the guild master about their forest investigation, and immediately afterwards, Rimuru, who is now able to transform into Shizu, asks if he would take on her form again. As Rimuru takes on the form of Shizu with a quizzical expression, the three bow and say the following words. Since they were unable to thank Shizu at the end, it seems that even though they are Rimuru inside, they wanted to thank her one more time. Though their journey was short, the four of them formed a strong bond, and they became Shizu's best companions. This is evident from this famous quote.

3rd Place: "If you're allied, you'd go and help them, right?"

Smiling Rimuru

The Pig-Headed Emperor and the orcs, the calamity-causing demons said to bring chaos to the world, were attacking people one after another. The lizardmen were also being chased by the orcs, and they were beginning to lose their escape route. At that time, Rimuru Tempest proposed to the Lizardmen that they form an alliance. However, since Rimuru had asked Souei to convey the proposal, the Lizardmen leader wished to meet Rimuru in person to discuss the matter. Rimuru accepted and promised to meet in seven days. He also told them not to start a war against the Orcs until then. The Lizardmen leader accepted the offer, but his son rebelled and challenged the Orcs to battle. The Orcs finally reached the leader, who predicted the Lizardmen's demise and entrusted his daughter with a message for Rimuru. The daughter somehow managed to escape, but was eventually surrounded by Orcs and in a desperate situation. At that moment, Rimuru and his men arrived and defeated the Orcs. The daughter ignored the message her father had given her and asked them to help her fellow Lizardmen. Rimuru then asked the daughter to form an alliance on behalf of the leader. This is the famous line Rimuru said to his daughter, who replied that she had no objections.

2nd Place: "Thank you. My hunger is now satisfied."

Gerudo Becomes the Demon Lord

The orcs and their leader, Gerudo, thrive by destroying villages one after another and eating their corpses. While Gerudo may have seemed ruthless, we were given a glimpse into his past when Rimuru used his "Crowmono" ability during his final battle with Rimuru Tempest. He witnessed his comrades dying one after another of starvation during a great famine. Using his regenerative abilities, he fed his body to children, somehow managing to protect his few remaining companions. Realizing that this situation could not continue, Gerudo set out into the forest to search for food, but he himself collapsed from starvation. Gelmud then appeared. He realized that he had been used as a pawn in Gelmud's evil plot, but he agreed to the offer to save his comrades from starvation. Even as he was being "devoured" by Rimuru, Gerudo continued to resist, refusing to let his comrades lose. Rimuru then told Gerudo, "I will consume your sins and the sins of your comrades," and swallowed him. Gerudo then vanished with these final words. This famous quote shows that even though he won the battle, he also saved Gerudo.

#1: "Let's take that as an apology."

Benimaru's Profile
Source: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime © Taiki Kawakami, Fuse, Kodansha / TenSura Production Committee
The battle with the orcs came to an end when Rimuru Tempest absorbed their leader, Gerudo. Concerned about what will become of the surviving orcs' sins, the tree spirit Trainee appears and announces that they will hold a meeting to resolve the situation. Rimuru, the demons, lizardmen, goblins, and orcs gather there. Rimuru then says that the orcs will not be held accountable. He gives reasons such as a great famine, but the real reason lies in a promise he made to Gerudo. When he "preyed" on Gerudo, Rimuru promised to take all of the orcs' sins. Rimuru assumed that the demons and lizardmen, who had lost so many comrades to the orcs, would not accept this, but the situation was quickly resolved. However, Gerudo's son was convinced that everyone would not accept it. He then pleaded with the demon Benimaru, saying, "I can't apologize enough. I fully understand that this is selfish talk, but could you please forgive me with just this head?" Benimaru then explains that Rimuru has given him a position and that those who join the alliance are not enemies. And this is the famous quote she uttered after saying, "I will do my best to be of use to Lord Rimuru."
