Rimuru Tempest left the cave where he was born and was wandering through the forest when he encountered some goblins. The goblins sensed an abnormal aura emanating from Rimuru and came to meet him. There, the goblins ask Rimuru for a favor. They want him to protect them from the Garo tribe. Veldora had been protecting the land where the goblins live, Goblin Village. However, since Veldora left, various monsters have been attacking the village. The goblins are particularly troubled by wolf-like monsters called the Garo tribe. Rimuru decides to fight for the goblins, and in the battle against the Garo tribe, he is victorious. Just when you think the surviving Garo tribe will leave, they choose to submit to Rimuru. The next day, the goblins and Garo tribe are living together. It could be said that this reconciliation is only possible because of Rimuru's overwhelming strength and his slightly absent-minded side.

When Rimuru Tempest traveled to the armed nation of Dwargon to further develop the goblin village, he got into trouble with the humans upon entering the country, and Rimuru Tempest and his attendant, Gobta, were thrown into prison. At that moment, Kaido, a member of the Dwarf Kingdom's security force who was on guard, received a call that his comrades had been injured. However, healing potions were in short supply and there was nothing they could do. At that time, Rimuru handed over a barrel full of healing potions that he had stored in his body. Furthermore, after Rimuru and his men's suspicions were cleared, they visited a blacksmith acquaintance of Kaido. They had been asked to make around 20 demon steel longswords, but were in trouble because they did not have enough materials. At the time, Rimuru had stored the necessary materials in his body, so he was able to create 20 demon steel longswords in no time.

While living in the royal capital, there was the Royal Capital Academy, which had a special class for children from another world. A teacher named Shizue Izawa was teaching in this special class, but she passed away. Rimuru Tempest was tasked with serving as a substitute teacher for three months until a replacement arrived. The children in the special class were imperfectly summoned and did not possess unique skills, meaning they had very little time left to live. Rimuru enlisted the help of Demon Lord Ramiris to save the children from physical collapse.
