Creatures Family Days is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other networks. There aren't that many characters, and each one has their own unique personality, so I think it's an approachable series even for first-time anime viewers. This is a rare series, as it was originally created in Taiwan and produced in China, but the story and setting are unique, so it's one that I would recommend to anime fans. I would like to introduce the appeal of this series.
The appeal of Jikkenhinkazoku Family - Part 1: Setting

The appeal of Jikkenhinkazoku is, above all, its setting. The parents are mad scientists, and it's a shocking setting in which they conduct human experiments on their children. Furthermore, the parents are arrested, and the children have to live on their own, which is a unique setting. It is very difficult for children who have acquired appearances and abilities that make it difficult for them to blend into everyday life to live their lives. However, there are not only serious scenes, but also many scenes that show the family overcoming difficulties and living their daily lives.

Since human experiments were conducted on them, the characters are all unique and have different abilities. The eldest son is Snow, a cyborg with a dog, the eldest daughter is Asis, who has the genes of a plant implanted in her, the second daughter is Iris, who has the genes of a spider, the third daughter is Suishi, who can read people's minds, and the main character is the youngest daughter, Tanis, who appears to be normal at first glance but is a genius scientist. As the story progresses, the abilities and characteristics of each character are revealed, making for a cast of characters that will make you want to see more.
The Charm of the Experimental Family - Part 3: Learn about foreign customs!

The original is a Hong Kong comic, and the production is handled by China's "Big Firebird Animation," so you can learn about the customs of those countries. In the first episode, the etiquette before drinking tea and how to order a menu were shown, along with how to behave in a restaurant. In addition, there is a turntable, which is a common item in China, in the living room of Tanis's house, and another charm of the story is that you can read about customs and traditions in various parts of the story.
The charm of the experimental family, part 4: Seeing the family cooperate with each other!

Tanis and his friends have been given special abilities, but they have to live their lives in a way that no one else can find out. Snow, Isli, and Asis no longer look normal, so it's hard for them to even go outside, and it's become difficult for them to even lead a normal life. But even in these circumstances, the family works together to get by. It's inspiring to see them holding hands and living despite the many difficulties they face.
The charm of the experimental family - Part 5: It's not just cheerful

This work depicts the lives of children who are given special abilities, but it's not all happy scenes. When they appear in front of people other than their family, they sometimes have to take medicine to temporarily suppress their abilities. As a side effect of the drug, he goes berserk, becoming more and more like a spider, which is far from human, or becomes completely plant-like and unable to move. His past memories also show him tied to a test subject and screaming. It's not just bright, but the realism is what makes this film so appealing.
The charm of the experimental family - Part ⑥ OP and ED

The OP is full of dynamism and is refreshing. It is perfect as an OP, as it succinctly introduces the cityscape and the powers of the main characters, Tanis and the others. The ED is relaxed, and Tanis and the others are wearing different clothes than usual, which is soothing. The OP and ED are contrasting, but both are attractive.
The appeal of Jikkenhinkazoku - Part 7: The food looks delicious!

The Jikkenhinkazoku is good at drawing food, and the quality is so good that the official Jikkenhinkazoku Twitter account proudly calls it "food terrorism." From famous Chinese cuisine to pizza and sweets, breads commonly found in homes, and drinks are all attractively depicted. The illustrations are so realistic that you'll get hungry just watching the anime. Various foods appear in each episode, so be sure to check them out.
The charm of the experimental family - Part 8: Stand in the same place as the characters! ? A pilgrimage to the holy land!

Although the setting and story of Experimental Family are extraordinary, many of the locations depicted as backgrounds actually exist. Most of them seem to be in China and Hong Kong. If you are traveling, be sure to visit the same places where Tanis and the others were standing!
The charm of the Experimental Family - Part 9: Good at expressing details

The food and cityscapes of the Experimental Family are depicted in detail, but the characters are also skillfully depicted in detail. In the first episode, Snow and Assist, who have never used chopsticks before, are depicted realistically and realistically. Other details include Snow's dog-like movements and Isuri's spider-like way of moving.
The charm of the Experimental Family, Part 10: A lot of nature is depicted

Since Tanis and his family live on an island, there is a lot of nature depicted. Not only trees, but also flowers, insects, wild animals, and more that exist in the town. There are also characters called Asis who have plant genes built into them, and you can see various plants growing from them, such as grass, mushrooms, branches, and flowers.
