Synopsis
In a world other than Earth, Elise de Clorence, the eldest daughter of Marquis de Clorence, is a selfish woman. Even after becoming Empress, she continued to commit crimes, and her husband, Linden de Romanov, was unable to bear to watch her, so she was burned at the stake. She was then reborn as Aoi Takamoto in her second life, and, reflecting on her past behavior, tried to live honestly, but she lost her life in an accident. In her third life, she was reborn again as Elise, and vowed to use what she had learned in her second life to become a doctor. What will become of Elise as she struggles to confront her past?
Elise de Clorence
She is the protagonist of this work. Her nickname is "Lize," and she is 15 years old when the story begins. In her first life, despite her cute appearance, she had a terrible personality. As Empress, she committed an irreparable crime that resulted in many deaths, and was sentenced to be burned at the stake. In her second life, she takes on the role of Takano Aoi on Earth. Aoi was a poor orphan who decided to become a surgeon and strived to atone for the mistakes of her previous life. However, shortly after becoming a doctor, she lost her life in a plane crash. In her third life, she returns to being Elise, and uses the knowledge and experience she gained in her second life to avoid the mistakes she made in her first life. She begins to change her attitude toward the people around her who she treated badly in her first life.
Linden de Romanoff
Elise's fiance, the Crown Prince, is dedicated to his country without personal feelings. To put it positively, he is earnest, but to put it negatively, he can be stubborn and sometimes comes across as unfriendly. He's actually a terrible cook, and even when serving food to Linden, he can't bring himself to say "it's bad," so he's very careful, but Linden herself is unaware of this. He married Elise not of his own will, but at his father's command and because Elise was selfish, and he has no love for her. However, it doesn't seem like he has any other love for her. He burned Elise at the stake after she committed a terrible crime in an attempt to impress him.
Graham de Fallon
Head of the Baron Fallon family, he was born as the eldest son of a fallen noble family. Having experienced the tragedy of losing his family to a plague in the past, he resolved to become the best medical scientist capable of defeating disease, and he worked tirelessly day and night. His stoicism led him to become a brilliant doctor at a young age, but he also has a proud side. He was Elise's tutor when she arrived as a medical apprentice, and despite his strict instruction, he gradually came to recognize her abilities.
