The anime adaptation of "The Beast Tamer Who Was Expelled from the Hero's Party Meets the Strongest Cat-Eared Girl" will begin airing in October 2022. The original work is from "Let's Become a Novelist" and was published as a light novel by K Ranobe Books (Kodansha). It was then adapted into a manga by "Manga UP!" (Square Enix) in 2019, with six volumes currently on sale. Sakurai Shinichi enjoys a quiet campus life. 86 - Eighty Six - (2021-2022 / Season 1 and 2 broadcast)
He plays the main character, Shinei Nouzen, the captain of the Spearhead Squadron, also known as the "Grim Reaper". He usually doesn't show his emotions, but on the battlefield he is calm and fierce in defeating his enemies. His only purpose in life is to kill his brother who has been absorbed into the Legion, and the way he accepts the deaths of his comrades alone and continues to fight is both sad and cool, and makes you think about what his back is saying as he fights in front of everyone else. Chiba-san breathes soul into this character.
Paripi Kongming (broadcast in 2022)
He plays the invincible freestyle rapper KABE Taito. He is a genius who has won the MC battle three times in a row, but he is a coward and weak under pressure, which is his downfall after three consecutive victories and he withdraws from the battle. Chiba plays the emotional growth of KABE Taito, from when he reverted to his original gloomy self, to when he is revived through Eiko's singing voice and a rap battle with Kongming. Kongming did a great job with Sun Tzu's Art of War, "You can use the enemy to your advantage."
Kanade of the cat spirit tribe is Waki Azumi
She enrolled in Tokyo Anime and Voice Actor College as a third-year student and made her debut in the first audition she took, "The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls," where she was cast as Sanae Katagiri. Uma Musume Pretty Derby (2018-2021/Season 1 & 2 broadcast)
She plays the main character Special Week in the first season. This is the story of the growth of Spe-chan, a cheerful, bright and hardworking girl who came to Tokyo from the countryside of Hokkaido to become an Uma Musume, until she achieves her dream of becoming the best Uma Musume in Japan. Waki Azumi plays the cute and strong-willed Spe-chan as she overcomes her friendship with Silence Suzuka, her defeat in a race, and various setbacks with the support of her friends.
Shangri-La Frontier ~ A Kusoge Hunter Challenges a God Game ~ (Scheduled for broadcast in 2023)
This is a work that I thought would be animated from the time the first volume of the comic was released. I play the character Saigar 0/Saiga Rei. The story is about the protagonist, a Kusoge Hunter Sanraku/Yomo Rakuro who loves Kusoge, conquering the full-dive VR game "Shangri-La Frontier" in a way that normal players don't. Waki plays Saigar 0, a top player who admires Sanraku and wants to play games with him. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of Cygar 0 he will play.
Is it similar to "Bofuri"?
By the way, "Shangri-La Frontier ~ A Crappy Game Hunter Challenges a Godly Game ~" is a different type of "I don't want to get hurt, so I'll max out my defense." The big difference is that the protagonist is a super gamer in Shangri-La Frontier, and the protagonist is a gaming beginner who does unexpected things in Boufuri. However, the nature of the works is completely different, so I think you can enjoy both works even if you watch them together.
Tania the dragon is played by Rumi Okubo
She attended the Tokyo Announcement Academy Broadcast Voice Actor Department and participated in the 3rd 81 Audition in 2009, where she won the Excellence Award. While still a student, she made her voice acting debut in the TV anime "Sasamekikoto". Her first lead role in an anime was in 2011's "Happy Kappi". Here are some of her other appearances.
Talentless Nana (broadcast in 2020)
I play the main character, Hiiragi Nana, who transfers to a school on an isolated island where boys and girls with special abilities are gathered. In the first episode of the anime, Nana becomes friends with Nakajima Nanao, who is isolated in class. I remember being a little scared when Nana suddenly changes and pushes Nakajima Nanao off a cliff after he uses his ability to become class president and Nana runs for the position. I was surprised by the sudden turn of events and Okubo's Nana's sudden change was scary.
Komi-san is a social anxiety disorder. (2021-2022/Season 1 and 2 broadcast)
This is a social anxiety comedy that revolves around Komi-san, who is beautiful but has social anxiety and wants to talk but can't. Okubo plays Naka Naka Shishun, one of her friends with a strong personality, who has a chuunibyou syndrome. I think fans will love the exchanges between Naka Naka and Yamai-chan as they battle over Komi-san. I would like to applaud Okubo for his brilliant performance as Naka Naka. By the way, when I see Komi-san talking on rare occasions, I think to myself, thank you, Koga-san.
Sora of the Spirit Tribe is voiced by Minami Tanaka
Her debut came in 2012, when she passed the "Light Angel Voice Actor Audition," a collaboration project between NTT East and Koebu, and was selected as the voice actor for the FLET'S Hikari Wi-Fi character "Frengel." She was ranked first overall in the 2019 voice actor event appearance ranking.
Yakinara Mug Cup Mo (broadcast in 2021)
She plays the main character, Toyokawa Himeno, who moves with her father to Tajimi City, the hometown of her mother who died at a young age. After Himeno enters the world of pottery like her mother, she begins to realize the charm of pottery in this work, which is a wonderful collaboration with the city of Tajimi. I think it's also great that the anime is based on a free comic originally produced by an IT company in Tajimi City. Tanaka and other fresh voice actors vividly portray the charm of pottery in this work.
Luna of the spirit tribe is played by Sashide Maria
She originally wanted to be a stage actress, but after being told that her voice was interesting, she decided to become a voice actress. In 2015, while still in high school, she made it to the final round of the "Chain Chronicle Character Voice Audition," which led her to attend A&G Academy and join WITH LINE in April 2016.
Aharen-san wa Hakarenai (broadcast in 2022)
She plays Futaba, a childhood friend who likes Atsushi, an elementary school student who Aharen-san considers his number one disciple. Aharen-san is strangely cute when she openly attacks Atsushi with hostility towards the "shotacon villain" who is seducing him. I look forward to seeing more from Sashide-san, who plays Futaba, who challenges her to a challenge with a paranoid attitude, without any unpleasantness.
