What exactly is the Pleasure Demon Sumeragi?
In this world, demons are creatures created by human malice and are in conflict with humans. Sumeragi is a high-ranking demon, considered a powerful figure among demons, and is one of the most powerful of them all. He supports the coexistence of humans and demons advocated by the protagonist Sally, and is himself the leader of the coexistence faction. However, his words and actions are completely untrustworthy, and it's clear that Sumeragi has his own agenda. He plots behind the scenes, ensnaring and obscuring both friend and foe alike. Countless characters have died or nearly died because of Sumeragi. This demon is at his most lively and having the most fun while doing so.
Pleasure Club Activity Record ①: Inciting an Attack on the Kingdom of Rimdar
The Blue-Faced Demon is sent to attack Hawthorne's hometown, the Kingdom of Rimdar, which is instantly wiped out. Two demons, Eye Demon and Seto, were dispatched beforehand, but were defeated by Kibitsu Mikoto and Sally. However, it is unknown whether Sumeragi was the one who dispatched them. It was at this time that he set his sights on Sally, and he has been haunting her ever since. It's mostly the Sumeragi who's causing Sally unnecessary hardships, and who sends demons to her and then kills them in return.
Pleasure Club Activity Record 2: Stimulating Sister Millia (Hair Demon) in the Western Forest
We incite Sister Millia (Hair Demon) in the Western Forest where the witch Winnie lives. Millia ends up unsealing the sealed Tree Demon. They didn't think that Millia would be able to defeat Sally and the others, so she was counterattacked and forced to flee, and then pursuers were sent to kill her, and she was eventually forced to break her own horns and give up her demon powers. Incidentally, it was Sumeragi who sent the pursuers.
Pleasure Club Activity Record ③: Encouraging Todoroki at the Hyakkikai
At the Hyakkikai, a meeting of demons, Todoroki, who had a deep affection for Megane, lies to him, telling him that Momotaro had gouged out Megane's right eye, broken his horn, and trampled on his dignity, killing him. This leads Todoroki to go to Sally and the others. While Megane was indeed "as good as dead as a demon," he survived and joined Sally and her group, and Todoroki had no way of knowing this. It wasn't a power harassment meeting, but it was a moral harassment meeting. This was all Momotaro's doing.

Sumeragi arrived in Balquendo before Todoroki, where he temporarily stole Chuu's (the unnamed Middle Demon, as Sumeragi calls him) demon powers and made him participate in the martial arts tournament. In reality, Todoroki is saved by the power of the Sleeping Demon, and he seeks coexistence with humanity in a different way from Sally and her group.

Mikoto's companion, Milia, falls ill with a fever. Unable to see a doctor, and the medicine she bought doesn't work, Sumeragi appears. Instead of curing her, Sumeragi claims that there are demons attacking the village nearby, and as a supporter of coexistence, he cannot leave them alone and asks Mikoto to defeat them. However, the Yuuki and his group that Mikoto attacked are actually demons who wish to coexist with humans. While the details are unknown, it seems that the coexistence supporters are a nuisance to Sumeragi, so he uses Mikoto to eliminate them. In reality, Yuuki's true nature was not achieved due to his own strength and Joselino's intervention, and his companion, the dog, clearly saw through his true nature.
Pleasure Club Activity Record 8: Using the Demon King to Scheme
The Demon King, who has a grudge against Frau, is given the body of a black rabbit and the power of a demon's horns, and is informed of the group's location. The Demon King defeats Frau and devours her, regaining his original form and name. However, Sally arrives and defeats him, saving Frau. However, this entire sequence was orchestrated by Sumeragi, who had predicted this outcome. Afterwards, the Demon King disappears, but just before that, he attacks Sumeragi, who had used him so badly. Unfortunately, the Demon King's blow didn't reach Sumeragi, but for some reason, he was rescued by Danminki and joined Todoroki's party in the form of a black rabbit, becoming the party's leader from then on.
