There are probably many people who learned about Evangelion through pachislot machines and then watched the anime.
Evangelion and pachislot machines are so closely intertwined that it's said that much of the funding for the new movie came from pachinko.
This time, we'll be introducing the Evangelion series in chronological order.
Manufactured by Bisty, a subsidiary of SANKYO, and planned and sold by Fields.

This is the first ART machine in the Eva series.
Since Eva was widely acclaimed as an A-type machine, I think there was a lot of criticism at first.

Evangelion: Hour of Resolve (2014)

Evangelion Slot

A+RT Type (5th Generation)
[Bonus Total] Setting ① 1/158
Setting ② 1/154
Setting ③ 1/152
Setting ④ 1/138

Returning to the traditional A+RT type. The Evangelion series of pachislots had heavy bonuses among A-type slot machines, often resulting in long game waits. However, with a lighter bonus total of 1/158 even on Setting 1, it has become popular with casual players. Since the ceiling RT is reached after 777G between BIGs and is not cleared by a REG win, it's difficult to tell how many games remain until the ceiling just by looking at the displayed game count, leading to many hyenas.

Evangelion: Spear of Hope (2015)

Setting ② 98.6%
Setting ③ 100.7%
Setting ④ 103.3%
Setting ⑤ 108.5%
Setting ⑥ 114.4%
This is the second ART machine in the series. It features many specialized zones, and if you hit the right spot, it can be explosive... but due to the low rate of entry into the specialized zones and the limited operation rate, few people were able to experience it.

It's back again with Type A. The frequency of the effects can now be customized to three levels: LOW, MIDDLE, and HIGH. By this time, it seems like user expectations for Eva pachislots had waned considerably.

[Payout Rate] Setting ① 97.5%, Setting ② 98.6%, Setting ③ 101.1%, Setting ④ 104.1%, Setting ⑤ 106.3%, Setting ⑥ 110.2%
The legitimate successor to "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion," which debuted in 2007.

The bonuses are lighter than the original, making it easier to play, but the payout rate is lower.

Evangelion Pachislot AT777 (2019)

Eva Slot

AT Type (Generation 6)
[Bonus Probability] Setting ① 1/211.8, Setting ② 1/201.5, Setting ③ 1/193.1, Setting ④ 1/172.9, Setting ⑤ 1/155.9, Setting ⑥ 1/144.5

This is the first Generation 6 machine in the series.
This AT features a difference-in-number management system, a maximum of 500 coins, continuity, and a net increase of 4 coins, making it a promising one-hit wonder. However, since it's a Gen. 6 machine, the advantageous zone is a drawback.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Runaway 400 (2019)

Eva Slot

A+RT Type (Machine 5.9)

During normal play, the game employs a cyclical lottery system that links the map's contents with the winning combination, while the AT's "Evangelion Festival" uses a difference-in-coin system.

Understand at a Glance!! Evangelion Pachislot Machines, from the First to the Latest

Eva Slot

These are the Eva Pachislot machines, from the first to the latest.
It's surprising that there are a total of 16 models, including spin-offs. Up until "Pulse of Life," Eva machines attracted large crowds on event days. Since then, the number of machines installed has gradually decreased, and the settings have become worse. As for the latest machine, "Festival," there's barely one in the variety section... While we don't know what new models will be released in the future, we hope to see some interesting Eva machines that will draw people from early in the morning, just like in the old days.
