This work is based on a girls' game and tells the story of the main character, Katarina, and the handsome men she plays... but Katarina is also a handsome (female) character who is liked not only by men but also by women. Female viewers will likely be interested in the handsome men, but male viewers will naturally be curious about the heroines. So, this time we'll be introducing a ranking of the cuteness of Katarina and the heroines who have a crush on her!
Fifth Place: Anne Sherry
Fifth place goes to Anne, a maid who has been by Katarina's side since she was a child, rather than a main character on the student council! Since she's not a main character, she only makes a few appearances, so I've ranked her fifth, but I personally think she's such a cute character that she deserves a higher ranking. She's eight years older than Katarina, making her a vibrant 16-year-old in this photo! After Katarina regains her memories of her past life, she continues to serve her at her side despite her various eccentricities, and even accompanies her as her caretaker when she enrolls in magic academy.
Anne Sherry's Cutest!
Anne and Katarina have a maid-and-lady relationship, but as an older sister, she also acts as a guardian, sometimes stopping Katarina from getting out of control. Anne's cutest moment is when she blushes and flinches as Katarina looks up at her! When Katarina arrives at the magic academy, she immediately gets to work on the fields, but in order to stop her from doing so, Anne takes her work clothes and hoe from Katarina's luggage and leaves them at the mansion before she leaves. However, it's no use, as Katarina orders the tools and starts working in the fields. Anne then tries to question Katarina, but Katarina's sparkling upward glance and begging pose instantly defeats her words. She says, "...Okay," and agrees to work in the fields.
Fourth Place: Sophia Ascart
Our fourth place pick is Nicole's younger sister, Sophia! Katarina's first impression of her is that she's beautiful. Her silky white hair, snow-white skin, and striking red eyes are a striking contrast. Before meeting Katarina, she was concerned about her old-fashioned white hair and blood-red eyes, which were rumored to be cursed. However, after Katarina told her she was beautiful, she stopped caring. After that, Katarina and Sofia quickly become close friends as fellow romance novelists.
Is Sofia Ascart a key character in the story?
To be honest, Sofia has a reserved personality and is on the low end of the story compared to the heroines in this work, but she suddenly becomes a key character towards the end of the story. When Katarina falls into a coma due to dark magic and there's nothing she can do, Sofia approaches her sleeping partner, determined to never lose her again. Her companions are perplexed by Sofia's obvious change in personality. Sophia closes her eyes next to Katarina and enters her consciousness.
Is Sophia her best friend, Atchan, from her previous life?
In her previous life, Katarina had a best friend named "Atchan," a fellow otome gamer since middle school. There was a childhood scene where Sophia's back overlapped with Atchan's, and Atchan also appeared in a dream Katarina had while in a coma. In the dream, Katarina and Atchan from their previous lives chatted about otome games. However, midway through the dream, Atchan told Katarina to wake up. Atchan's words awakened Katarina...and as she departed, Atchan left her with a meaningful message: "This time, I'll always be by your side as Sophia."
Third Place: Mary Hunt
Our third place pick is Mary, the youngest of the four Hunt sisters and Alan's fiancée! Mary has three older sisters, but she is the only one born to a second wife. She was bullied by her sisters, leading to a timid and timid personality. However, when she was discovered tending to her garden by Katarina, she was recognized for her skills and agreed to help restore Katarina's field. After successfully restoring Katarina's field, Katarina tells Mary, "You, with your green hands, are a special and wonderful person." This single word sparks a love affair between Mary and Katarina, changing her life and personality for better or worse.
Mary's Life After Falling in Love with Katarina
Mary was timid when they first met, but after falling in love with Katarina, she's become incredibly aggressive! Katarina is all over her mind, and she's constantly thinking about her, ignoring her fiancé, Alan. (She even talked about Katarina to Alain with hearts in her eyes.) When Katarina woke up from a two-day sleep, she was the first to jump on him and burst into tears. However, during the Katarina Condemnation event, she defended her, saying, "Lady Katarina is very simple-minded," and "She couldn't have come up with such a detailed plan," while also making some harsh comments.
Second Place: Katarina Claes
Our second place pick is the main heroine and protagonist, Katarina! She's a very tomboyish character who acts immediately when she thinks of something, often leading those around her into a frenzy. At first, her only goal was to communicate with magical powers, but before she knew it, farming had become a fully-fledged hobby... She also has a strong appetite, with a particular weakness for sweets, and in her childhood she would sometimes get stomachaches from eating too many. (She was such a greedy eater that it seems she might have still been scavenging sweets even at the age of 15.) By treating everyone equally, she helps many characters overcome their complexes, and before they know it, both men and women are fond of her, making her a true natural flirt.
Is her appearance not that particularly beautiful?
While viewers may find Katarina quite cute, she doesn't appear to be particularly beautiful in the series. Or rather, perhaps it's because there are so many beautiful women around her that she doesn't stand out... Even student council president Sirius Deek commented upon seeing her for the first time, "Compared to Maria Campbell and the others who joined the student council this year, she's not particularly beautiful." However, Katarina's incredible power completely changes that impression! Her insensitive, childlike side and her adorable, naive nature are endearing, and many of Katarina's good qualities are also found on the inside.
1st Place: Maria Campbell
Topping the cuteness ranking is Maria Campbell, the protagonist of "FORTUNE LOVER"! Maria is the only commoner enrolled in a magic school attended exclusively by aristocrats. Possessing rare light magical powers, she was even elected to the student council, making her a truly "protagonist" character. Her appearance is undeniably beautiful, even within the series, and Katarina often blushes and writhes in agony at her cuteness... As a girl, she's skilled at baking and, of course, has a good personality, making her a flawless beauty in the story.
Maria's devotion to Katarina is adorable!
At first, the two barely interact outside of the student council room, but after Katarina saves Maria from a pinch, she falls in love with her. Maria's best feature is that she doesn't hide her feelings at all, and she tells Katarina right away. (Although Katarina is insensitive, so she doesn't actually get it...) Every time Katarina asks Maria if she has a crush on anyone, Maria replies with a blush, "I have feelings for you, Katarina." She's so adorable every time! Even Katarina, who is known for her cuteness, thought, "If I were a guy, I'd be completely captivated."
Heroine Cuteness Ranking Summary
So far, I've introduced the ranking of the most beautiful heroines. I know I'm not sure why I'm saying this after all this, but... I think the ranking will vary greatly depending on your preferences. If you like demure characters, you'd want Maria or Sophia, while if you like energetic characters, you'd want Katarina or Mary. Personally, I'm also a big fan of Anne... I've only introduced my personal rankings this time, but which character was your favorite?
